Garden and Landscape

Geohumus is ideal for use in gardening. Lawns, flowers, bushes, trees and vegetable gardens all benefit from the soil enhancing properties of Geohumus.
With Geohumus you will have less work and earlier results, so you can enjoy the splendor of your garden (and the envious glances of your neighbors).

Spend your time enjoying your garden instead of watering!

By using Geohumus you will reduce your water requirements and save time.
Loss due to seepage and evaporation are minimized, so you will need 30% less water depending on the location and type of plants.
Would you prefer not to have to ask the neighbors to water your flowers when you are away for a few days? Geohumus could be the solution, because with Geohumus you do not have to water as often.

Improved and deeper rooting and utilization of nutrients

Geohumus stimulates the growth of plant roots. The roots penetrate the individual Geohumus particles, where they find a favorable environment that is rich in water, oxygen and nutrients – which helps to speeds up the development and spreading of roots.

Fewer losses after transplanting

Geohumus minimizes the shock from transplanting by stimulating root growth after repotting or transplanting. The plant adapts very quickly to their new environment, thanks to Geohumus.

Increased yield and earlier harvest for your vegetable garden

The use of Geohumus is proven to increase the yield of fruits and vegetables in gardens. Studies have also shown that various fruits, vegetables and herbs ripen more quickly.

Reduction of fertilizers and pesticides protects the ground water

Geohumus reduces seepage and washing out of fertilizers and pesticides. This also reduces the amount of fertilizers and pesticides needed and their subsequent leeching into ground water.

Biologically compatible and safe to health

Numerous tests have proven that Geohumus is non-toxic and therefore safe for the environment. Geohumus is physically broken up by mechanical treatment while fungi and microorganisms can biologically degrade Geohumus. In 2007, Geohumus was honored with the environmental award of the German Labor and Environment Foundation. Certificates and studies that confirm the safe use of Geohumus can be found here.

**Our recommendation: the 20kg bucket! For laying out new lawns or rolled sod, we recommend using 200g of Geohumus per m2 of lawn or sod. For seedlings, bushes or trees, dig a hole and either insert a layer of Geohumus at the root level or mix it into the subsoil. Detailed instructions can be found here.
